Introduction

Each Gingr app comes with a range of GingrU Courses that teach how to use basic to advanced features and tasks within the app. Additionally, Custom GingrU Courses can be created to tailor training resources to fit the needs of your business.

Courses consist of Steps, which each contain an instructional video and at least one multiple-choice question to assess understanding.

Audience

To create or modify Custom GingrU Courses, users must have permission to Manage GingrU Courses. Assigning User Group Permissions is outlined in this article: User Groups and Settings.

Use Cases

Custom GingrU Courses can be used to:

  • Onboard new employees by introducing company policies, procedures, and responsibilities.
  • Ensure understanding of service offerings and how to communicate these with customers to improve performance and address common challenges.
  • Educate employees on regulations and protocols, and ensure adherence to safety standards.

Before You Begin

  • To create a custom GingrU course, you will need to prepare the material covered in your course. This includes developing a course outline, recording instructional videos, and creating questions to assess understanding. There are a number of platforms and apps available outside of Gingr which provide tools to record and edit video content and screen recordings.

  • Once recorded, we recommend uploading videos to Vimeo for use in custom GingrU courses.
