Overview: What are we talking about?
Currently, Gingr does not officially support split payments (or multiple payments on one transaction), but there is a 2-step workaround that's pretty easy.
How to: Accept Split Payments.
Step 1: Apply a Miscellaneous Credit
Apply a miscellanous credit for the first payment method. You can do this quickly from a few different places. If you are on the Dashboard, find the animals name and click the drop down to select $ Credit Account:
Or, if you are in the Cart, click the drop down to expand the Reservation Details and Click on the Owners name:
On the credit page, enter the Amount of the credit, a short description, and the payment method.
Step 2: Apply the credit to the cart
Once the credit has been added to the account, navigate back to the cart and apply it there using the $ button on the upper right side of the cart.
Step 3: Collect payment for second payment method
You will check out the remaining balance with the second payment method as normal, now that the credit for the first has been applied. This will complete the transaction.
