Set Up the Daily Checklist

Overview: What are we talking about?

In Gingr, you can easily track daily types of work that need to be completed by staff by using the daily checklist. Checklist items can be recurring for specific days of the week and can be categorized into different types of checklists.



Helpful Hints: Before you begin.

  • Before you get started, take a moment to list of the items you need regularly completed. Identify how you want to categorize your work. For example by time (“AM” and “PM”) or by team (“Reception” or “Kennel Staff”). You will use these categories to set up and organize your daily checklist.



Set it Up: Let's get started.  

Step 1: Set up checklist types

  1. Navigate to Left-hand Navigation: Admin » Employees » Daily Checklist.

  2. Manage Checklist Types.

  3. Add or Edit a checklist type and configure the following fields:

    • Type: Name your checklist type to categorize any of the tasks that you will set up within this checklist type.

  4. Save your changes and go back one page

  5. Repeat these steps to create any other checklist types you may need.

 

 

Step 2: Set up checklist items.

  1. Navigate to Left-hand Navigation: Admin » Employees » Daily Checklist.

    • If you just completed step one above, then simply scroll down to Checklist Items.

  2. Add a checklist item and configure the following fields:

    • Location: Select your location that the task should show for.

    • Value: Name the task.

    • Type: Choose the checklist type that this task should be organized under.

    • Days of Week: Choose one or more days of the week that this task should be completed on.

  3. Save and go back one page.

  4. Repeat to create any remaining tasks for your checklist.
