Overview: What are we talking about?
In Gingr, you can send individual emails to customers. If you commonly send an email with the same content to your customers, you can create a canned email template to save you time from having to type the same email over and over again.
This article will describe how to set up canned email templates.
Helpful Hints: Before you begin.
- Before we get started, take some time to think about what kind of canned email templates you may need to create. Review the automated messages that Gingr will already send for you and then look at things that you find yourself commonly telling customers today. A canned email template is perfect for something that you have to inform customers of often but is not already an automated email in Gingr.
Set it Up: Let's get started.

Navigate to Left-hand Navigation: Admin » Canned Email Templates.

Add a canned email template and configure the following fields:

Name: Name the canned email template something that is clear for you to understand what template you are choosing when selecting to send one to a customer.
- These names are for your facility only. Customers cannot see canned email template names.

Subject: Enter the email subject line that this canned email template should have.

Message: Enter the content of the email as you want it to appear to your customers.
- Do not copy from Microsoft Word. It is recommended that you copy from a PDF or manually type and format the email body in Gingr itself. Canned email templates can also take advantage of variables just like automated messages.
