Setting Up Capacity By Date

Overview: What are we talking about?

In Gingr, you can manage your capacity by date. If you know you are going to increase or decrease your capacity on a given date due to traffic or staffing, you can override your normal capacity by using Gingr’s capacity by date feature.

Helpful Hints: Before you begin.

• Before you get started, identify if there are any dates in the year that require you to have a different capacity than a normal date.

Set it Up: Let's get started.

1. Navigate to Left-hand Navigation: Admin » Capacity.
   
   
2. Add a capacity by date and configure the following fields:
   
   
   • Location: Select the location that this capacity by date applies to.
     
     
   • Capacity: Enter the capacity that should apply on this date.
     
     
   • Date: Enter the date that this capacity should apply to.
     
     
   • Capacity Group: Optionally select a capacity group that this capacity by date should apply to.
     
     
     • Leaving this field blank will make this capacity by date apply to your entire facility.
       
       
3. Save and go back one page.
   
   
4. Repeat for any other dates that you need to adjust your normal capacity for.
