Overview: What are we talking about?

In Gingr, you can add custom pieces of text/information to different areas of the customer portal. This allows you to more effectively communicate important pieces of information to your customers.



Helpful Hints: Before you begin.

  • Before you get started, take a moment to think about any important pieces of information you want to communicate to customers in the following areas:

    • Deposit policies

    • Estimates

    • Reservation and appointment requests

    • Service upselling



Set it Up: Let's get started.  

  1. You have the ability to configure the following fields:

    • Reservation Request Text: Enter in any information that you want to display to customers at the top of the page when they are requesting reservations like daycare and boarding.
      • Edit this by going to Left Navigation: Admin » Reservation and Appointment Requests

    • Appointment Custom Text: Enter in any information that you want to display to customers at the top of the page when they are requesting appointment-based reservations like grooming or training.
      • Edit this by going to Left Navigation: Admin » Reservation and Appointment Requests
    • Estimate Custom Text: Enter in any information that you want to display to customers when they generate an estimate for their reservation.
      • Edit this by going to Left Navigation: Admin » Invoice and Receipt Options
    • Reservation Request Services Text: enter in any messaging that you want to display to customers in a pop-up message when they attempt to request a reservation with no added services.
      Note: Use this field to upsell your services! Leave it blank if you do not want a pop-up message to appear.
