Add a Medication Schedule

Overview: What are we talking about?

Medication Schedules are created for pets when a pet has a required medication schedule during their stay. Creating medication schedules is very important especially if you implement Charges for Medication. You will also want to make sure you have set up all of your Medication Settings.

Set it Up: Let's get started.

Setting Up a Medication Schedule:

1. Navigate to an animal profile by searching: Top Navigation: Search... » Pet Name
   
   
   
   
2. Once you're on the pet profile, click the pencil icon to edit their profile.
   
   
   
   
3. Scroll down the find the Medication Schedule.
   
   
   
   
4. Add a schedule by clicking the '+' icon. From here you can add the 'Quantity', 'Unit' and 'Type' of the medication. You can also add:
   
   
   • Medication Notes
     
     
   • Start/End Dates: this will set the medication for a specific date and will be removed after the expiration. You do not have to set the date for medications. If you leave these blank they will still show on the medication report.
     
     
   • You can also add additional medications for the specific scheduled time.
     
     
     
   • To add specific date ranges or medications for every other day, you can use the date fields for this:
