Overview: What are we talking about?

There are several different places in Gingr where you can amend reservations. This is helpful if you need to change the reservation dates, add additioinal services, or change the reservation type completely.

Helpful Hints: Before you begin.

  • If the send edited reservation email is turned on, your customers will receive an email letting them know that their reservation has been edited.

How to: Edit Reservations.

Edit a Reservation AFTER Check In

From the Dashboard:

  1. From the Checked-In section of your Dashboard, click the Action drop-down menu.  

  2. Select Edit Reservation.

  3. A pop-up window appears where you can choose the details you would like to change.

  4. Click 'Save and Close' to save your updates.

 

From the Animal or Owner Profile Page: 

  1. Navigate to the Animal or Owner page by either, clicking on their name from anywhere in the app, or type the owner or animal's name into the predictive Search box in the upper left of your app.

  2. On the Animal or Owner page, click the Reservations tab.

  3. From the Actions menu, select Edit Reservation.

From the Reservation Details Page:

There are a few ways to navigate to the details page of a reservation.  

  • From either the Checked InExpected Today, or Going Home Today sections of the Dashboard, find the reservation in the list and click on the Actions menu (list icon), then select View Reservation Details.

  • Also from the Checked InExpected Today, or Going Home Today sections of the Dashboard, find the reservation and click on the reservation type.

Click Edit Reservation button to navigate to the Edit Reservation page where you will make changes, then click Save.

From the Calendar Details Page:
 
Navigate to the Calendar Details page by either:
  • Clicking on the date button within the check-in details widget

  • Clicking on any item on a specific day within the Facility Calendar

The Calendar Details page will give you a list of all reservations that are on the calendar for that day. Reservations will show the designated color for the Reservation Type when this is the animal's first day of their reservation.

Editing Reservations BEFORE Check-In

 
From the Requested Section:

From the Animal's Profile Page:
 
You can navigate to the Animal's Profile page by either searching in the top left search bar or simply clicking on the Animal's name from the Dashboard. The same action can be performed from the Owner's Profile Page » Reservation Tab.

From the Calendar Details Page:

Navigate to the Calendar Details page by either: 
  • Clicking on the date button within the check-in details widget
