Overview: What are we talking about?

If you have Gingr's PrintNode integration, with the appropriate user permissions, your cash drawer can be triggered by selecting your cash drawer in the Devices panel. The panel can be brought up in three ways:

  • A transaction using a payment method that is set up to bring up the Devices panel
  • Bringing up the Devices panel by clicking Command-P (Mac) or Control-P (PC) on your keyboard
  • Bringing up the Devices panel by selecting Cash Drawer from the Left Navigation > Point of Sale.
  • Important! if you click a button to trigger the cash drawer, it will open at your business, regardless of where you are (e.g. at home, at the coffee shop, etc.)
