Overview: What are we talking about?
The Booking Performance Report provides a breakdown of how frequently selected additional services are applied to a selected reservation type, as well as how frequently a selected add-on is applied to a given additional service type.
This report is used to objectively evaluate the historical performance of and forecast the future performance of additional services added to single and multi-day reservations, as well as service options added to additional services. Additional services can be very lucrative to your business because they increase the average ticket price and are an easy way for your business to make more money while the pet is already present. It is important to be able to track how these efforts are performing so that your business can monitor the upsell ratio and coach your staff to upsell services.

- Viewing this report requires the permission "Can View Financial Reports". Please see our article on User Groups for more information.
- This report is designed for past reporting. The dates selected in the report should be in the past or the current date only. It cannot be used to forecast performance. You can select one or multiple Booking Categories, additional services, and/or service add-on types at once. This report is run for a selected date range, one location at a time.
To access the Booking Performance Report, navigate to Book Icon » Reports » Booking Performance Report. From this page, you can adjust the following reporting parameters to tailor the report to your needs:
|From Date||Starting date for the report. This must be a past or current date. If any part of a reservation overlaps with the selected date range then it will be included in the report.|
|To||End date for the report. This must be a past or current date.|
|Location||Location you are running the report for. This report is run one location at a time.|
Optionally, choose all relevant Booking Category types that you would like to see reports for. These categories are set up from Admin » Reservation Types and Services Configuration » Manage Categories. For more information see How to Update Your Booking Categories.
If no category is selected the report will run for all categories at once.
|Additional Services||Optionally, choose the Additional Services and Service Add-ons that you would like to run the report for. If nothing is selected the report will run for all of your services.|
|Export to Excel?||Check this box to export the report results to excel.|
Service Attachment by Booking Type:
This section indicates how often a given reservation type has a given additional service attached to it.
Each reservation type within the given Booking Category will display on its own line.
|Service||Each additional service that has been performed for the given reservation type will have an additional line.|
|# of Bookings||
The number of times the given service has been attached to the given reservation type.
Clicking on this number displays a popup with a complete list of all reservations factoring into this total, including a link to the Reservation Details page, a link to the Animal Profile, Start Date, End Date, Creation Date, and Appointment Type.
|%||The percentage of how often the given additional service has been attached to the given reservation type.|
Add-on Attachment by Service Type:
This section contains information about how often a selected service add-on was attached to any given reservation type.
|Additional Service Type||Each selected additional service type will display on its own line|
|Add-ons||Each service add-on that has been performed for the given service type will have an additional line|
|# of Bookings||The number of times the given service add-on has been attached to the given additional service type|
|%||The percentage of how often the given service add-on has been attached to the given additional service type|
Exporting & Printing the Report
If you'd like to export to a CSV file, check the tick box "Export to Excel?" in the report parameters at the top of the page before selecting the blue "Generate Report!" button.
After the report parameters have been set and you generate the report, you can select "Print PDF" with the green button at the bottom of the report parameters.
