Overview
User permissions control how employees interact with customer agreements in Gingr, including creating reservations for customers without signed agreements, uploading scanned agreements, and sending agreements to devices for signature.
Customer Agreements User Permissions
To manage permissions, navigate to Reports & More > Groups, then select the appropriate group to edit.
| Setting | Description | Helpful Hint |
| Can Override Agreements | When enabled, users can create reservations for customers who have not yet signed the required agreements. This also allows staff to sign an agreement on behalf of a customer who does not log in online (for example, a customer without an email address). | We highly recommend leaving this set to no/off until you need to make a reservation for a customer who does not have a signed agreement. After doing that, turn the permission setting back off. |
| Can Upload/Delete Agreements | When enabled, users can upload scanned copies of signed agreements to meet signature requirements. They can also push agreements to a tablet or device for customers to sign. When an agreement is pushed to a device, Gingr records the user’s current location as the location of signature. | This permission should only be granted to trusted users who manage customer agreements or assist with on-site signing. |
Location Considerations
-
These permissions apply per location and follow the user’s allowed locations set in their profile.
-
When an agreement is signed, uploaded, or pushed by a user, Gingr records the associated location in the signature record for accurate tracking.
