Set Up Medication Types

This allows you to optionally set up the types of medication animals may have.

1. Navigate to Left-hand Navigation: Admin » Medication » Medication Types.
   
   
   
   
2. Select +Add.
   
   
3. Enter Code: Enter a short code to identify the medication type.
   
   
   
   
4. Enter Name: This can be any type of medication, vitamin, supplement, flea treatment, etc. that you may administer.
   
   
5. Indicate whether this medication type should carry a Charge for Administration. This setting is related to the pricing Rules "Medication (per administration)" and "Medication (Daily Charge)."
   
   
   • If you have set up one of these pricing rules, selecting yes/on here will create a charge when the administration of this type is recorded on a medication report.
     
     
6. Select Save.
   
   
7. Repeat until you have set up all the medication types you would like to choose from.
