Gingr can automate fees that apply during specific date ranges in a year. This allows you to collect some extra revenue for reservations booked during your busiest time. Automating this in Gingr allows you to save time with one less thing to remember to add or keep track of.
The system will automatically create a surcharge for each unit of the reservation that falls within the date range. If you charge for boarding by the night, the charge will apply to every night which falls on a peak date. If you charge by the day, the charge will apply to each calendar date with a peak date rule.
Before You Begin
- Before you get started, take a moment to list all of the date ranges where you charge a fee for reservations because they fall within a peak period of the year.
- Gingr can apply a daily flat fee to reservations that fall within periods of the year that you specify.
- If you are unsure whether or not your peak date pricing can be automated in Gingr, then please reach out to your onboarding specialist.
