If you ever charge for pets who check out late or discount for pets who check in after a certain time of day, Gingr can automate that based on system check-in/out timestamps on that pet's reservation. This allows you to save a lot of time with one less thing to calculate at check out.
Types of Check-In/Out Rules
Type | Description | Helpful Hints |
Check Out Time After Check-In Time | This rule is triggered if a pet checks out after the original check-in time. | Example: Charging a half-day of daycare if a reservation checks out 60 or more minutes after the original check-in time. |
Check In/Out Before | This rule is triggered if a pet checks in/out before a set time. | Example: If a pet checks in/out before 6:00 am there is a $5 fee. |
Check In/Out After | This rule is triggered if a pet checks in/out after a set time | Example: If a pet checks in/out after 7:00 pm there is a $5 fee. |
Check In/Out Before (Hours of Operation) | This rule is triggered if a pet checks in/out X amount of minutes before the facility hours of operation. |
Example: If a pet checks in/out 5 minutes or more before the facility opens there is a $5 fee This rule type will reference disabled dates, specific date hours,and recurring hours. If none of these apply, this rule type then defaults to referencing system wide settings. |
