If the customer has a package on their account, you can use these credits to check out their reservation.
Checkout with a Package Credit in the Cart
- Add the reservation to the cart by clicking the drop down menu next to their name from the dashboard and choosing Add to Cart.
- Navigate to the cart by clicking the Cart Icon in the Top Navigation Menu.
- In the cart, click the Coupon Icon to bring up the package menu. Click on the package that you'd like to apply to the reservation. The credit will apply to the reservation and will cancel out the rate charged for the reservation.
- Next, you'll select the applicable Check Out button at the bottom of the page to complete your transaction. If you are only using packages to check out (ie. you have a $0 balance in the cart after applying), select Check Out With No Payment. Otherwise, you'll take actual payment for any items left in the cart (services, retail items, etc) by selecting the $Check Out With Payment button.
- Once complete, the receipt will reflect that a package credit was used, as well as the owner's package history.
Redeem a Package Credit Using Quick Checkout
If a client has a reservation with no additional services or charges, and has a package credit for that reservation type, Quick Checkout can be used to check out the reservation.
- To use the Quick Check Out feature on the Dashboard, select the shopping cart icon and click on the available package to use credits.
The shopping cart icon beside the pet's name will have a little down-arrow on it, indicating that Quick Check Out is available for this reservation.
- Select the package to deduct a package credit and check out the pet's reservation.
- Once the pet is checked out, a success message will temporarily display with a link to the invoice.
