This article explains how to edit areas and lodgings, update details in bulk, and remove information when needed. Use these steps to keep your lodging setup accurate and up to date.

Before You Begin

If you have not yet created any areas or lodgings, start with the following articles:

• Create Lodgings (How-To)

Edit Areas

1. Navigate to Left-hand Navigation: Admin » Manage Areas/Lodgings.
2. Select the pencil icon to the left of the area you would like to edit.
   
   
3. Update the location, name, and/or description as desired.
4. Save.

Update Individual Lodgings

1. Navigate to Left-hand Navigation: Admin » Manage Areas/Lodgings.
2. Expand the area by selecting the down arrow to the right of the area that includes the lodging you would like to edit.
3. Select the pencil icon to the left of the lodging you would like to update.
   
   
4. Edit the details of the lodging as needed, including:
   • Area
   • Name
   • Description
   • Maximum number of animals
   • Maximum weight of animals
   • Reservation type(s)
   • Lodging type
   • Webcam
5. Click Save.

Bulk Update Lodgings

1. Navigate to Left-hand Navigation: Admin » Manage Areas/Lodgings.

2. Select the lodging(s) you would like to update. You can select specific lodgings within the area(s), all lodgings included in an area, or all lodgings in all areas.
   
   

    

3. Select the Bulk Update Lodgings button above the lodgings.

4. Add the needed information including the area, maximum number of animals, maximum weight of animals, lodging type, and reservation type. 

    Tip: Only enter the details that need to be updated. You are not required to input information into every field. 

Remove Lodging Details

1. Navigate to Left-hand Navigation: Admin » Manage Areas/Lodgings.
2. Expand the area by selecting the down arrow to the right of the area that includes the lodging you would like to edit.
3. Select the pencil icon to the left of the lodging you would like to update.
   
   
    
4. Remove the details you no longer need, such as:
   • Description
   • Maximum number of animals
   • Maximum weight of animals
   • Lodging type
   • Webcam

5. Save.

   Notice:  When removing lodging details, this must be completed for each lodging individually as these details cannot be removed in bulk.
