Set Up Default Services (How-To)

Default Services are designated additional services that will be automatically applied to a reservation type at a set frequency. 

Notice: Appointment-based services cannot be configured as default services because appointment-based services must be manually scheduled. Appointment-based services depend on a specialist's availability. 

 

Before You Begin

 

Set Up Default Services

  1. Navigate to Left-hand Navigation: Admin » Reservation Types and Services Configuration.
  2. Select the Booking Category » (Reservation Type) that the default service should be associated with.
  3. Ensure that the service is attached to the Reservation Type under the Manage Services button. Use the Allow an existing service for bookings of this type field to add the service if not already attached.

  4. Close this window and select the Default Services button.

  5. Click into the Set new default service drop-down menu to select the desired service.

  6. Click into the Add to booking on drop-down menu to set the frequency of the default service. Only one option may be selected here.

  7. The additional service has now been successfully configured as a default service. Now, any bookings under this reservation type will automatically have this service applied.
