Your Locations page contains information and settings that pertain to your facilities contact information (for example, the facility phone number, email address, website URL, etc.).
Before You Begin
The majority of the information entered on this page will display to your customers on the customer portal. We recommend being as detailed as possible when it comes to the policies and instructions you include.
Edit a Location
-
Navigate to Left-hand Navigation: Admin » Location Info.
- Select the Actions icon next to the location.
- Select Edit.
- Complete the setup using the Field Guide below.

City |

If you have a multi-location app the city will automatically pull from the information on this page when selecting locations throughout the app. See an example of the Contact Us page below this field guide. |
Phone |

This will display on the Contact page in the customer portal. See an example of the Contact Us page below this field guide. |
Fax |
If you have an existing fax number it can be entered here. |

This is the email address your Gingr app will use to send emails from. This email will also appear on the Customer Portal on the "Contact Us" page. Replies from customers will also go to this address. |
Important!: Please do not use a Yahoo, AOL or Cox email addresses as they will not send. We suggest creating an email address from @yourbusinessname.com (example: info@gingr.com). See an example of the Contact Us page below this field guide. |
Website URL |
This is your facility website URL. This will be displayed in the Customer Portal. |
This must start with http:// or https:// See an example of the Contact Us page below this field guide. |
Hours |
Hours will appear on the Customer Portal on the "Contact Us" page. This is only a general display of your business hours and does not determine what time your customers can choose for reservations. |
These hours will also appear in customer emails, SMS, etc., when using the {hours} variable. See an example of the Contact Us page below this field guide. |
Latitude and Longitude |
Latitude and Longitude control the weather widget on your app. |
This field is optional and will eventually place your business on a map in the app - you can enter your real lat. and long., but you may also just put '1' or random numbers in those fields |
Status |
This indicates whether this location is in use. |
