Set a Specialist as Unavailable (How-To)

Learn how to set a specialist as unavailable depending on if they are time-based or slot-based.

 

Set a Time-Based Specialist as Unavailable

  1. Navigate to Calendar » Facility Calendar.

  2. On the Day View, click under the specialist who needs to be set as unavailable.

  3. Select the Mark Unavailable button.

  4. Set the From Time and Until Time.

  5. Optionally, add a Note.

  6. Select the Save button when finished.

Set a Slot-Based Specialist as Unavailable

  1. Navigate to Reports & More » Manage Schedules.

  2. Select the slot-based service you're looking to remove the availability for the specific date.

  3. Edit the slot-based service's capacity to 0. If this is just for one day, you'll want to ensure to not apply this change to future shifts.

  4.  Select the Save button to save these changes.
