View Report Cards (How-To)

Article Details

Overview

Report Cards are a fun and useful feature in Gingr that your customers will love. They allow you to share photos, videos, and detailed information about their pet's stay with the pet parent.

Once the report card has been created, you can view it to preview what the customer will see.

View a Report Card

There are a few ways to find and view report cards in Gingr:

From the Left Navigation

Go to Report Cards » View Report Cards to see a list of recent report cards for reservations not yet checked out or checked out within the last 7 days.

From the Animal Profile Page

  1. Search for the pet to open their profile.

  2. Click the Report Cards tab.

  3. Select the report card you’d like to view.

Location Filter on the Animal Profile

The Report Cards tab includes a multi-select location filter that controls which report cards display.

  • The default selection is All Locations.

  • When Restrict Users to Allowed Locations is disabled, all locations are automatically selected.

  • When Restrict Users to Allowed Locations is enabled, only the user’s allowed locations are pre-selected.

    • Single-location users default to their assigned location.

Only report cards associated with the selected location(s) appear in the list.

From the Dashboard

In the Checked-In or Going Home Today sections of the Dashboard, the Report Card column displays the date and time the last report card was created for each pet.
Clicking this date/time opens the report card for preview before sending it to the customer.

View Reports Cards in the Customer Portal

Customers can view their report cards and the photos associated with their report cards a few different ways in their Customer Portals:

  • Report cards are accessible for customers to view via the {action_url} included in the system email Checkout Email (if template is enabled) regardless of the report card's send status.

  • Report cards are not accessible for customers to view in their Customer Portal without the {action_url} included in the system email Checkout Email unless the report card is sent via sms or email.

  • Photos and videos uploaded to report cards are visible via the "View" page in the Customer Portal as soon as the photos or videos are uploaded, regardless of the report card send status/check out status.
