Set Up Automated Medication Charge Pricing Rules

1. Navigate to Left-hand Navigation: Admin » Pricing Rules.
   
   
2. Choose your location and boarding reservation type.
   
   
3. Add a pricing rule and configure the rule with the following information:
   
   
   • Label: Name the pricing rule as you want it to appear on estimates, the shopping cart, and receipts (e.g. “Medication Charge”).
     
     
   • Type: choose one of the following pricing rule types depending on your business practice for medication charges.
     
     
   • Medication (daily charge): Choose this if you charge once per day for administering medication to an animal.
     
     
   • Medication (per administration): Choose this if you charge once per medication administration.
     
     
   • Method: Choose dollar.
     
     
   • Amount: Enter the amount that you want to charge per day or per administration (depending on the type that you just set).
     
     
4. Save your pricing rule.
   
   
5. Repeat creating these rules for other boarding reservation types where you charge for medication.
