Implement a discount or surcharge if an animal altered or intact beyond what is indicated in the altered by months setting found in Left-hand Navigation Admin » Animals » Animal Icons.

Create Pricing Rules by Animal Altered Status

1. Navigate to Left-hand Navigation: Admin » Pricing Rules.
   
   
2. Select the Location.
   
   
3. Select the Reservation Type that you want this rule to apply to.
   
   
4. Create a new pricing rule group to tell the system when you would like pricing to take effect. Alternatively, select an existing pricing rule group.
   
   
5. Click Add Rule to create a new charge/discount.
   
   
6. Select the Animal Altered rule type.
   
   
   
7. Enter a label for how you would like the rule to be shown on estimates or invoices. 
   
   
8. The value input will be either Animal Altered, Animal Intact, or Animal Intact (over x months) with x being the altered by months system-wide setting found in Left-hand Navigation Admin » Animals » Animal Icons.
   
   
9. Enter in the amount you would like to surcharge or discount.
   
   
10. Select the method (dollar or percent).
