Introduction

Gingr offers multiple ways to manage communications with customers via email or SMS. In the topics below we will cover how to enable specific user groups with the permissions needed to communicate with customers, how to view communication history with a customer's account, and the many ways to send those communications to customers.

 

Audience

Only users with the user group permissions Can Email Customers and Can SMS Customers can manually send emails or SMS communications to a customer directly. System-generated emails and system-generated SMS are sent automatically depending on a variety of circumstances. In order to customize the templates, users will need to be in the admin user group to access the System Email page, and the System SMS page.
