Set Up System Owner Icons (How-To)

Summary

This article shows admins how to turn system owner icons on or off. It also shows how to set them to show in pop-up alerts. Gingr adds system icons to owners automatically when certain conditions are met.

Steps

  1. Go to Left-hand Navigation: Admin » Owners » Owner Icons.

  2. Use the Status toggle to choose whether your app uses an icon. When it is on, the icon shows wherever you see the owner's name if they meet the icon's conditions.

  3. Set the toggle to On for each pop-up alert you want the icon to show in.

Pop-Up Alert Events

Pop-up alerts show, if you set them up, for these events:

  • Checkout Alert: Appears when the animal's reservation is added to the cart.

  • Checkin Alert: Appears when the animal is checked in.

  • Reservation Creation Alert: Appears when the animal's name is entered on the New Reservation and New Appointment page. It also appears during Quick Check-ins and when you manage reservation requests.

  • Owner Details Alert: Appears when you visit the owner's profile.

  • Animal Details Alert: Appears when you visit the animal's profile.

  • Reservation Details Alert: Appears when you visit the reservation details page for the animal's reservation.
