Summary

Marketing SMS and 2-Way SMS are add-ons to the System SMS functionality. This article lists what each add-on includes and what it costs.

What This Does

To send Marketing SMS, you must have the Marketing SMS add-on or the All-in-One Multimedia Messaging Bundle. Other SMS features include 2-Way SMS, Marketing SMS, and a bundle that also has Multi-media Messaging, Canned SMS, and SMS Auto-Replies. See Set Up 2-Way SMS and Canned Responses and Auto-Replies.

To subscribe, go to Left-hand Navigation: Admin » Manage Gingr Subscription and select Enable on the add-on. Your billing period starts the day you turn the feature on.

Each add-on has an annual charge and metered usage charges. A single "SMS segment" is up to 160 characters. A text longer than 160 characters, up to 320, counts as more than one segment. Each extra segment counts toward the monthly quota and is billed. The count resets each monthly billing cycle.

Marketing SMS

Important: This add-on does not include media (images or videos) in campaigns. To send media, you need the All-in-One Messaging Bundle instead.

Includes Marketing SMS. Metered usage is per outgoing text.

• $135 per location per year
• $0.00 per outgoing SMS for 0 to 500 messages sent per month
• $0.04 per outgoing SMS over 500 per month

2-Way SMS

Includes 2-Way SMS. Metered usage is per incoming text.

• $165 per subdomain per year
• $0.00 per incoming SMS for 0 to 500 messages received per month
• $0.04 per incoming SMS over 500 per month

All-in-One Multimedia Messaging Bundle

Includes 2-Way SMS, SMS Marketing, Multi-Media Messaging, Canned SMS Templates, and Auto-Reply SMS. 2-Way SMS is metered per incoming text. Marketing SMS is metered per outgoing text. This pricing covers 2-Way and Marketing SMS combined:

• $225 per subdomain per year
• $0.00 per SMS for 0 to 1000 sent or received per month
• $0.04 per SMS for 1001 to 2000 sent or received per month
• $0.03 per SMS for 2001 to 3000 sent or received per month
• $0.02 per SMS for 3000 or more sent or received per month

If you already have 2-way SMS or Marketing SMS and sign up for the All-in-One Bundle, Gingr gives a pro-rated credit on your next invoice (regular subscription or messaging bundle, whichever comes first). Metered usage numbers reset with the upgrade. Gingr does not refund usage costs if you upgrade mid-month. Contact our support team with questions.
