Summary

This article shows you how to turn on 2-Way SMS and set permissions so your staff can send and receive texts.

Steps

1. Go to Left-hand Navigation: Admin » Manage Gingr Subscription.
2. Find the Two-Way Texting (SMS) subscription add-on.
3. Select Enable Now. You can subscribe to All-in-One Multimedia Messaging (MMS) instead. It lets you send and receive files, including pictures and videos.
4. Go to Left-hand Navigation Menu: Book Icon » Groups.
5. Turn on the Can Send SMS permission for each group that should send custom SMS. It is on for all groups by default.
6. Turn on the Notification: Incoming SMS permission for each group that should get in-app notifications for incoming texts. It is off for all groups by default.
