Introduction
Packages allow your business to offer pre-paid bundles of credits that can include reservations, services, and add-ons. Each package is composed of one or more components, and each component has its own credit type, quantity, pricing, and expiration settings. Packages make it easy for facilities to offer structured bundles—such as daycare packages, grooming bundles, training packages, or mixed-service combinations—at custom rates.
Packages are assigned to an Owner’s account and, depending on your business's policy, may be used for any animal in the same family. This topic outline will guide you through how to create, configure, and manage packages for any supported credit type.
For example, a customer may purchase a package to pre-pay for a 10 pack Full Day Daycare, or for a 5 pack of Baths, for a further discounted rate. Since the package is associated with the customer, they can optionally use this package for any other animal in their family. In this article, we will show you how to create and edit packages for and how to manage all associated settings.
Helpful Hints
- Packages are attached to the owner's account and can be used for any animal within the same family. If your facility offers a discount on packages for multiple animal families, see the Packages for Families Reference Guide.
-
Each package contains one or more components, and each component includes:
A credit type (Reservation or Service)
The selected Reservation Type, Service, or Service Option
A quantity of credits
Pricing and tax settings by location
Expiration rules
Credit values are determined by the configuration of the Reservation Type or Service associated with the component.
- Package credits can NOT be split. (e.g. cannot use ½ of a Full Day Daycare punch toward a Half Day Daycare reservation).
- Only users in the Admin User Group can create or edit Packages and Subscriptions, and manage package-related system settings.
