Feeding types are types of food you administer and want to track separately. Examples of feeding types might be “Owner Provided”, “House Provided”, “Brand Food”, etc.

Set Up Feeding Types

1. Navigate to Left-hand Navigation: Admin » Feeding.
   
   
2. Add a feeding type and configure the following fields:
   
   
   • Code: create a shortcode for the feeding type you are creating
     

     Important:  You must have a code entered for each type in order to allow selection of that type.

     
     
   • Name: Name your feeding type (e.g. “House Food”)
     
     
   • Charge for Administration: Set to yes if you want to automatically charge when this feeding type is administered to an animal.
     
     
3. Save your changes and go back one page.
   
   
4. Repeat creating feeding types for as many feeding types as you need to track.
