This article will guide you through how to enter the time clock mode on a trusted device after you log in to the Gingr Notifications app. By the end of this section, you will have an understanding of how to set up a trusted device for all users to clock in and out through.
Before You Begin
There is one user permission associated with the trusted devices setting. It can be enabled for the admin user group at Left-hand Navigation: Reports & More ยป Groups.

Can enter trusted devices into time clock mode: this permission setting allows users to login on a trusted device and enter the time clock mode, via the Gingr Notifications App.
Enter Time Clock Mode on a Trusted Device
- Log in to the Gingr Notifications App. You will see an option to enter the time clock mode.
- Give the trusted device a name.
- Select a location.
- Select the Set Up Time Clock blue button.
Now that the device has entered time clock mode, any user can use this trusted device to clock in or out for that location.
- If the Gingr Notifications App is given access to the trusted device's webcam, a photo will be taken when an employee clocks in or out.
- If a user taps the Exit Time Clock mode, the Admin user will be required to input their password to exit the time clock mode and go back to the regular Gingr Notifications App.
- The Admin that is logged onto the trusted device will continue to receive push notifications but will need to Exit Time Clock mode in order to mark those notifications as read.
