Introduction
The Calls report tracks inbound and outbound calls made by staff users to clients. This report requires that the Use Call Feature setting is enabled under Admin » Call Logs in your Gingr instance. Please see our article Call Logs for more information on this setting.
Reporting & Location Access
Reports in Gingr use location-based reporting. Results are calculated based on the locations selected in the report, and each report’s location label determines how results are calculated.
Available locations are limited to the user’s Allowed Locations. If a location does not appear as an option, verify the user’s location access before running the report.
Helpful Hints
- To edit your Source Phone Numbers and Call Types, navigate to Admin » Call Logs.
- You can add calls to this report if some were not properly scheduled before report generation!
Getting Started
To access the Calls report, navigate to Book Icon » Reports » Calls. From this page, you can adjust the following reporting parameters to tailor the report to your needs.
Report Parameters
| Parameter | Description |
| From Date | The start date filter setting |
| To Date | The end date filter setting |
| Directions(s) | Filter the report between inbound and outbound calls with clients. |
| Include Deleted | Check this box to generate a complete list of calls. |
Create Call Record
Click on the blue "Create a Call Record" button to add a new inbound or outbound call to a customer's account.
The New Call Record Form will include:
- Call Direction: Inbound or outbound
- Date*
- Time*
- Source Number
- Owner: This is an optional field and can be tagged later when generating the report.
- Call Types: Ability to tag multiple types to one call
- Duration: How long (in minutes) the call lasted
- Notes
Report Output
The Calls Report will generate a list of Inbound and/or Outbound calls for your specified date range according to the parameters below:
| Output | Description |
| Owner | Option to edit which owner account the call log is tied to. |
| Source | Option to update which source phone number the call was completed on. |
| Type(s) | Add or remove additional call types from the call log. |
| Notes | Use has the ability to add or update notes associated with the call log. |
| Duration | How long (in minutes) the call lasted |
| Created At | When the call was scheduled |
| Created By | The user that created the call log |
Via the drop-down menu next to an owner's call log, you have the option to:
- Edit Call
- Create new reservation
- View owner profile
- Call Owner Cell
- Call Owner Home Phone
- Email Owner
Show Charts
Click on the Show Charts option above the generated list of calls to view line graphs broken down by call types or source numbers:
Export the Report
If you'd like to export to a CSV file, check the box "Export to Excel?" in the report parameters at the top of the page.
