Introduction
If a customer is at your facility, you can have them sign a required agreement on your tablet.
If their pet has a reservation for the current day, you can push the required agreements to the tablet from the Expected Today section of your dashboard.
You can also push agreements to your tablet at any time from the customer’s Owner Profile.
Tip: Pushing agreements to a tablet requires that the user has the Can Upload/Delete Agreements permission enabled.
Setup E-Signature
Log into Gingr on your tablet and navigate to Left Navigation: Point of Sale Icon » E-signature to open the E-signature page.
Give your device a name to establish the connection.
Important: While any tablet that can access a mobile browser will work, Chrome is the recommended browser. Amazon Fire tablets are not supported.
From "Expected Today"
-
Click the Actions button for the pet’s reservation and select Push Agreements to Device.
-
An Awaiting Signature Capture panel will appear, displaying the connected tablet.
-
If more than one tablet is available, select the appropriate one from the list.
-
On the tablet, the customer will see all required agreements that have not been signed for this booking location, along with the signature panel.
-
The customer will read, sign, and submit their agreement.
Tip: When an agreement is signed via tablet, Gingr automatically records the staff user’s current location as the location of signature in the agreement record.
From the Owner Profile
Navigate to the Owner Profile » Agreements tab.
-
Click the Actions button next to an agreement and select Push to Device.
An Awaiting Signature Capture panel will appear, showing your connected tablet(s). If you have more than one tablet available, you can select a different tablet to push the agreement to.
On the tablet, the individual agreement will appear for the customer to read, sign, and submit.
Tip: When pushed from the Owner Profile, only agreements configured for the selected location display on the tablet.
Re-naming the Tablet
To rename a connected tablet:
Clear the browser cache on that device for all time.
Reopen Gingr and navigate to E-signature again.
The system will prompt you to name the device as a new connection.
Reference: While any tablet that can access a mobile browser should work, we do not recommend Amazon's Fire Tablet as they only support Amazon's web browser (Silk). Chrome is the recommended browser to access Gingr on any device.
Additional Notes
-
Agreements displayed on the tablet are filtered automatically by location:
Enrollment or Waivers Page: Home Location
Booking Request or Expected Today: Booking Location
Push to Device (Business Portal): Business User’s Current Location
Signature records display the signer’s name, date, IP address, and location of signature.
