Overview

The Agreements feature helps you manage your business’s legal documentation and ensure that customers sign all required agreements.

This section explains how to collect agreement signatures through different methods - including tablet, SMS, and paper - and how to manage permissions for staff who assist with agreement collection.

Important:  If an agreement is set up for a reservation type, unless overridden by staff with the appropriate user permissions, customers must sign that agreement before a reservation for that reservation type can be made for them.

Additional Notes

  • For businesses with multiple locations, agreements are displayed and tracked per location.

    • During Enrollment or when signing through the Agreements page, agreements for the customer’s Home Location are shown.

    • During a Booking Request, agreements for the Booking Location are shown.

    • When staff push an agreement to a tablet or device, Gingr records the staff member’s current location as the signing location.

  • Each signature record includes the signer’s name, date, IP address, and location of signature for accurate recordkeeping.

  • Agreements signed before location selection was introduced remain valid across all locations.
