Create an Additional Service (How-To)

Additional services are services that can be added to a reservation or appointment. Additional services can be unscheduled, scheduled without a specialist, or scheduled with a specialist as an appointment-based service. Additional services can also have Service Options. 

 

Before You Begin

  • All admin users have access to the admin page controlling these settings (Reservation Types and Services Configuration). Additionally, admin users are able to delegate this particular admin page to other user groups. Non-admin users with access to this page will be able to make edits that affect all locations in the app. For more information see our article on User Groups and Permissions

Create an Additional Service

  1. Navigate to Left-hand Navigation: Admin ยป Reservation Types and Services Configuration.

  2. Locate the reservation type that the additional service should be associated with. 

  3. Click the blue Manage Services button.

    Notice:  Once you have additional services set up, you can also use the Default Services button to designate additional services that will be automatically applied to this reservation type. Appointment-based default services CANNOT be configured as default services because appointment-based default services must be manually scheduled. Default services only work for scheduled = no (unscheduled) and scheduled = yes (frequency) services.


  4. To create a new service, click on the grey Create a New Additional Service box.

    Tip:  If you have already created a service for another reservation type, you can add that additional service to another reservation type by selecting it from the Add Service box.



  5. Adjust the additional service settings as necessary. Refer to the Field Guide if you need assistance.
