Summary

The commission report shows how much an appointment-based service specialist, such as a groomer or trainer, earned from their services. Run it for a date range to see the commission earned in that range.

Important: Gingr sets commission rates when the appointment is booked, not when it is completed.

What This Does

Reports in Gingr use location-based reporting. Gingr calculates results from the locations you select, and each report's location label decides how results are calculated. Available locations are limited to the user's Allowed Locations. If a location does not show as an option, check the user's location access before you run the report.

Tip: Pre-Discount Commission is calculated before any discounts are applied to the invoice. Post-Discount Commission shows earnings after all discounts, such as multi-pet discounts and promotions.

Where to Find It

Go to Left-hand Navigation: Reports & More » Reports » Commission.

Report Parameters

• From: Choose a start date to see commission data from that date.
• To: Choose an end date to see commission data up to that date.
• Locations: Select the locations you want commission data for.
• Completed Services Only?: Select this to filter out all services that were not marked complete or checked out during the date range.
• Export to Excel: Select this to export the results to an Excel file. If you select it, choose the New Version.

Edit a Commission Rate

If a service uses a different commission rate than you need, you can change the rate right on this report.

1. Run the report for the dates you want.
2. Select the pencil edit button on the left of the service you want to change.
3. Select the right user and commission rate. You see a list of past commission rates and the rate now assigned to that user for the service. You can choose a past rate.
