Export the Email History Log (How-To)

Email communication history is saved within your Gingr app for up to 90 days, as this is the maximum amount of time these records are stored by our email provider. Below, we will walk through how to save backups of all email communications outside of Gingr should you choose to do so.

 

Before You Begin

You can view most emails from the Outgoing Emails Log. If you wish to see the complete history for a specific owner, then from the Owner Profile, you can access the Communications tab with all the customer email and SMS communications in one place. Also from the Owner Profile, you can click their email address and select View History to pull up a complete list of emails to the owner.

 

Export the Email History Log

  1. Navigate to Left-hand Navigation: Admin » Reports & More » History, you will see a button for the Outgoing Email Log. This list contains all outgoing emails from your facility and can be filtered as needed.

  2. Select the "Export" button on the right to export an .xls file of the full Email Log.

  3. The .xls file includes the Subject, Sent Date/Time, To, and Status Columns.

Export the Email History Log for a Specific Owner

  1. Navigate to the Owner Profile and select the email address. From the dropdown, select View History.

  2. Select the "Export" button on the right to export an .xls file of the full Email Log.
