Edit a Reservation After Check-In (How-To)

Within Gingr, every time a pet is checked in and out, this is considered a reservation. There are several different places in Gingr where you can amend reservations. This is helpful if you need to change the reservation dates, add additioinal services, or change the reservation type completely.

Notice:  If the send edited reservation email is turned on, your customers will receive an email letting them know that their reservation has been edited.

 

Edit a Reservation From the Dashboard

  1. Navigate to the Checked-In section of your Dashboard.

  2. Select the Actions Dropdown Menu next to the reservation you wish to edit.

  3. Select Edit Reservation.

     
  4. Make any needed changes.

     

  5. Save.

 

Edit a Reservation From the Animal or Owner Profile Page

  1. Navigate to the Animal or Owner page.

    • Select their name from anywhere in the app or enter the owner or animal's name into the predictive Search box in the upper left of your app.

       

  2. Select the Reservations tab.

  3. Select the Actions Dropdown Menu next to the reservation you wish to edit.

  4. Select Edit Booking Details.



Edit a Reservation From the Reservation Details Page

  1. Navigate to the details page of a reservation.
     
    • From either the Checked InExpected Today, or Going Home Today sections of the Dashboard, find the reservation in the list and click on the Actions dropdown menu, then select View Reservation Details.


    • Also from the Checked InExpected Today, or Going Home Today sections of the Dashboard, find the reservation and select the reservation type.



  2. Select the Edit button.


  3. Make any needed changes.

  4. Save.

 

Edit a Reservation From the Calendar Details Page

The Calendar Details page will give you a list of all reservations that are on the calendar for that day. Reservations will show the designated color for the Reservation Type when this is the animal's first day of their reservation.

  1. Navigate to the Calendar Details page.

    • Select the date button within the check-in details widget


    • Select any item on a specific day within the Facility Calendar


  2. Select the Actions Dropdown Menu next to the reservation you wish to edit.

  3. Select Edit Booking details.


  4. Make any needed changes.

  5. Save.
