Summary

Memberships system-wide settings are toggles that apply across all locations and change how memberships work. You find them in two areas of the Admin section: Manage Memberships and Portal Customization.

Manage Memberships Settings

These settings control how benefits are calculated and applied system-wide.

Setting: Allow Membership Credit Benefits on Any Reservation Type
Description: Lets membership credit benefits apply to all reservation types, regardless of category.
Helpful hint: Turn this on if you want flexible use of membership credits across different reservation types.

Setting: Allow Membership Benefits to Discount Final Rate Modifiers
Description: Lets membership benefits discount final rates that include additional modifiers.
Helpful hint: Turn this on if membership benefits need to affect pricing after modifiers such as taxes or surcharges are added.

Portal Customization Setting

This setting controls whether pet parents can buy memberships online.

Setting: Allow Membership Purchases from the Portal?
Description: Turns membership sales on or off in the Customer Portal and the Gingr for Pet Parents app.
Helpful hint: Turn this on if you want pet parents to see the Shop Memberships tile in the portal and self-enroll in memberships.

Where to find it

Manage Memberships settings: Go to Left-hand Navigation: Admin > Manage Memberships. These settings apply to all locations in the app.

Portal Customization setting: Go to Left-hand Navigation: Admin > Portal Customization.
