This article provides a high-level overview of how Membership Billing & Payments function in Gingr, including renewal cycles, payment processing, and important considerations.

Before You Begin

• Memberships automatically renew and must be canceled to stop future charges. 
• The initial payment method used for enrollment is saved for future renewals. 
• If a membership is purchased on a date outside the set billing schedule, the first payment will be pro-rated. 
• Depending on the membership's configuration settings, a banner will display when enrolling a pet parent in a membership outside the renewal cycle (weekly, monthly, annually), in the enrollment page. A yellow banner will display how many benefits are available at the time of purchase. A banner will also display to prevent a purchase of a membership if there are no benefits available in the billing cycle.
