You can use your templates to send emails directly to individual customers or in email blasts sent through the Marketing feature. Only users with the Can Email Customers user permission can send emails to customers.
Send Canned Emails to Individuals and Groups with Templates
- Navigate to the customer's profile and click on their email address, then select Send Email from the drop-down menu. A panel will appear.
- Select your email template from the Choose a Canned Email Template dropdown menu. Your email template will populate into the subject and message fields.
- Edit the subject and message as needed, then click the Send Email button to send.
Important: Your {variables} should populate the desired information into the email form instead of appearing like {first_name}, {location_name}, etc. If they do not, there is a problem with the variables in your template. Do not send the email.
