Cancel Memberships from Owner Profile (How-To)

This article will guide you through the process of canceling a pet parent’s membership from their Owner Profile. Canceling a membership will stop future renewals but does not automatically refund payments.

Cancel Memberships

  1. Navigate to the Owner Profile.

  2. Select on the Memberships tab to view all active and canceled memberships.

  3. Locate the membership to be canceled and select the red X (Cancel) button.

  4. In the pop-up confirmation window, select 'Confirm Cancellation'.Screen Shot 2025-02-04 at 16.42.10 PM.png


  5. Verify the cancellation:
  • The membership will now show a Canceled status in the Memberships tab.Screen Shot 2025-02-04 at 16.50.58 PM.png
  • Benefits will be removed based on the membership's policy.

Additional Information

  • Refunds: Canceling does not issue a refund. Refunds must be processed separately.

  • Reactivating Memberships: Once canceled, a membership cannot be reactivated. A new membership must be purchased.

  • Reporting: Canceled memberships are reflected in the Membership Report and Revenue by Date Report.
