Article Details
Gingr allows businesses to streamline recurring memberships for pet parents. Memberships can include various benefits such as discounts, credits, and special pricing. When a customer is enrolled in a membership, the customer’s credit card is automatically charged according to the configured billing schedule, and the associated benefits are applied to their account.
Important: To use this feature, businesses must have Gingr’s integrated credit card processing enabled through CardConnect or Gingr Payments. For additional details, please review our article: Differences Between Gingr Payments and CardConnect.
Before You Begin
- Memberships are charged and renewed based on the configured billing schedule (weekly, monthly, or annual).
- Ensure the membership's associated benefits and pricing rules are correctly configured to avoid unexpected charges or discounts.
- Updating a customer’s card on file will apply to all future renewal payments for active memberships.
- Refunding a membership payment does not automatically cancel the enrollment. For information about cancellations, refer to the article: Cancel Memberships from Owner Profile.
